Bridges

Bridges and implants share the same main goal: to restore gaps between your teeth.

In simple terms a bridge is like having two crowns fitted on the supporting teeth, with a fixed false tooth in between to bridge the gap between them.

It is a well-known dental procedure with good long-term outcomes but that has been losing popularity to dental implants. That is because it often requires otherwise unnecessary preparation of the adjacent teeth, which goes against our minimal invasion principle.

It still is a viable treatment option for those who already have crowns on the adjacent teeth or for those who are not suitable for implants.

Bridges can also be implant-supported.
